BAPScarCare Silicone gel is an occlusion, meaning it is a barrier that prevents moisture from leaving the skin. Silicone products have been proven to enhance the healing process of scars, making them flatter, less visable and reducing symptoms such as redness, pulling, itching and other cosmetic complaints.
Enriched with Vitamin E, it has a non-greasy silky feel and dries quickly leaving a translucent matt finish. The silicone gel is ideal for smaller scars in areas where clothing will not rub against it, such as the face or neck. Also available with a SPF 25 protection it is perfect for protecting scars exposed to harmful UV rays.
